Remote Viewing is a learned skill, which was discovered only a few decades ago.
It is the ability to actually 'see' through the supposed barriers of time and space. The ability allowed the viewer to see his target without limitations of distance or time. Therefore, the future or the past are all reachable using this talent.
Remote Viewing has been used to help Police Departments solve crimes,to transmit images from a space shuttle to one or more receivers below,to predict accurate movements of Wall Street, and to provide answers from material of both the past and the future.
First studied in depth in the USSR, the 'cold war' that followed created a techno-gap between super-powers, in the case of Russian and Iron Curtain science studying the ability and training ordinary persons to develop this ability; while the U.S. was doing literally nothing in this area.
A program of study was developed at Stanford, later SRI in California by Drs. Puthoff and Targ, to study the ability and whether it could be taught. With the assistance of Ingo Swann, one of the pioneers in the remote viewing ability, a program of study was begun, and a later program transferred to the U.S. military under such names as Grillflame, Sunstreak, Stargate,etc. The best reference work on this program is Jim Schnabel's book 'Remote Viewers’. The ability was utilized for targets of many types, including intelligence, by the military groups and a co-ordinate group to which the U.S. Psi Squad was recruited.
It is only a few years since the existence of the 'PSI-War' as it was called, was revealed in the daily news, although columnist Jack Anderson had been writing about it for decades.
Remote viewing and remote viewers have entered a secondary phase in the 80’s and 90's in which the ability is being talked about, written about,shown on television specials, and is becoming a household word.
Today, the ability is being taught to those who hear of it and are intrigued with the reality of remote viewing, as well as its employment by Agencies of the U. S. Government.
Remote Viewing has decided applications to everyday life, and can be used in a personal sense as well as in the larger applications.
The very existence of the U. S. Psi Squad is the proof that it can be of help in a community betterment sense, in helping to solve puzzling crimes.
Bevy Jaegers' record in Wall Street predictions over a 9 year period for a New York City newsletter, Financial foresight, shows that remote viewing can indeed correctly forecast the movements of stocks, commodities and the Dow Jones.

Remote viewing presents a challenge to today's students of the human mind, since it brings together all that was once mysterious about communication between minds (telepathy) precognition (knowing the future) psychometry(gaining intelligence from a solid object as target) and retrocognition(knowing the past) and putting them together into a workable, non-mystical human skill.
In the past, such abilities may have been misunderstood as 'mystical', related to religion or some kind of witchcraft, occult or weird, simply because they were not understood. Since they often happen to ordinary people who had no frame of reference with which to understand them, it is not surprising that they were misinterpreted. However, since we know that they can and do happen to quite ordinary human beings, these abilities can no longer be considered 'super' anything.
Today, words like 'clairvoyance' can be discarded as outdated, and the ability of the mind to 'see' past, present and future is simply known as Remote Viewing.
It is the TRAINING of the mind that changes this skill from something that happens 'now and then' to something that can be sharpened, controlled,directed and used. of reputable Universities and Colleges studying the ability are
growing. From Stanford, to UNLV to Princeton, new discoveries
are being made constantly. The future of Remote Viewing is
a bright one, and we are proud to be apart of it.
